A Course in Happiness is discussed in an interview with the publisher on TARCHER TALKS, amongst other things presenting the "top ten" list of what people can do to increase contentment in the present moment. It is posted at PENGUIN.COM and also on YOUTUBE. A paperback of this book is on the way for later this year, and plenty of hardbacks are available. Any corrections suggested need to be in by July 1 for the new printing!

I am pleased that the groups I addressed during the Jan 09 book tour were so very positive. I will be covering the stress mastery issues in my plenary address to the Americal College of Psychoanalysts in San Francisco in May, also the American Psychiatric Association Meeeting, and giving a three hour plenary on the treatment of Post Traumatic Stress Disorders to the American Association of University Health Service providers. The reason is they expect students who are Iraq and Afghanistan vets

The point is to help patients resort often intuitive but sometimes harsh and omnipotent values using reflective conscious and verbal communicative processes to establish personnaly owned priority systems.

I will talk on "Thinking Through Stressful Topics on Your Own" at UCSF at noon on Wed. March 14, 2007.
